Well I’ve been getting nudges for a week or two about Mike Filsame’s Butterfly Reports Viral Marketing site and finally decided to join.  I took a look and wasn’t really surprised that Mr Filsame would have his name all over this, pretty good.  Yeah there have been other Viral Marketing tools launched, but the difference with this one is that it has an entry level that is FREE CLICK Here To Join!

How it works is that you can submitt your reports and ebooks and once you generate an affiliate link from Clickbank, Butterfly Reports and Paydotcom, your ebook is populated with those links!  Great I say!  Plus other website owners can select your report and off goes your report, populate it with their affiliate links and off goes your report out into the world bringing you traffic.

With the free entry you can upload one report per month and you can download one report per month.  You can upgrade to the Platinum level as you’re signing up and you should recognise that if you don’t upgrade then and there, then you will not see Platinum at that price again.  Might be worth the initial upgrade then if you can run to it!  Plus I believe free entry level means that when you populate an ebook with your aff links it is only populated with 25% of your affiliate links, whereas Platinum will give you 100%.

The other great thing about this site is that the subject catagories for the ebooks are not limited to Internet Marketing, so if your niche is Health & Fitness, Home & Family etc. then you’ll find those subjects listed.  However, since the site isn’t even a week old yet, it doesn’t currently have a great deal of reports under any heading, but this is Mr F we’re talking about, so pretty much, that won’t last for long. I say get in at ground level and do it now!  CLICK HERE for entry to Butterfly Reports!

Hi folks!  Well, there’s been lows and a couple of highs since I was last here!  I’ve been ill in bed for a week and only working periodically from the old laptop, that’s still chugging along thank god!  I’ve been writing a few articles for my main blog, determined to lift it out of the Google wilderness!  Currently it’s averaging about 15-20 Uniques a day, not great, and despite offering a great ebook for free, no one will sign up my list.  So yes, from my sick bed I’ve been sending off articles to Ezinearticles to lift the blog and I’ve posted almost every day to it. $0.01

Did you ever feel like you’d arrived late at a very boistrous, all hell let loose party, where sex had taken place, where money and wealth were the entry tickets?  Where the ordinary looking guy with bad skin, got to go home with the beautiful girl and in a Porche no less!  Where everyone already knew everyone elses name?  Where everyone knew the latest dance and there you were, badly dressed, no dance partner, no money in your pockets, struggling with the steps as you try to keep some kind of rhythm to the music?  Music that you’d never even heard before?  Ever felt like that?

Remember when your mother told you to switch that computer off and go out and play with your friends?  To go get some exercise or you’d turn into one of those pastey faced geeks who spoke an obscure language and whose only relief was to masturbate until he was blind, cause he’d never get a girlfriend?

Reader,  I won’t go for the plural on that and humilate myself, I’ve just checked all my stats: Commission Junction, Adsense, Clickbank, PayPal and today I made the grand total of $0.01.

Not much more to say really is there?

Traffic

I’ve been working on Traffic again on my main site.  I’ve spent a lot of time dedicated to this site and although I’m not seeing any result money wise, it’s looking good and I know it’s all money in the bank.

I need to step up my Ezinearticles submission.  Haven’t submitted an article for must be 10 days now, that’s not good.  As I’ve said before I currently can’t afford to get into PPC/Adwords etc and so I’m pursuing organic traffic.  Looking at my Google Analytics Reports does not inspire - so yes, more article writing.

Yahoo Answers is going well.  I generally spend about 20 minutes a day answering questions in my chosen niche and it can be quite rewarding.  Just got a bunch of Best Answers that have bumped my score, so that’s great.  I’m thinking of buying a report from a guy that I outsourced to, that should help with my Yahoo Answers strategy, but I really need to reign in the spending, so I’ll do some hard cold thinking.  Might be worth it in the end, but you just never really know.

Squidgoo Lens and Hub Pages, desperately need some input.  I’ve got one of each up for two different niches and I really need to improve the existing two and put up a couple more.  I’m thinking that the plan that I’ll sketch out this week will involve one of each in one of my niches.  If I put up two every couple of weeks and stay on that, then I might start to see some traction there? Well I’ve had my head down for the past two weeks working on one project, that’s the way to approach this Internet Marketing, I’m told.  Stick with one project until that’s earning a few dollars and then lather, rinse and repeat.  So on another of my sites, I’ve been concentrating on getting traffic to it.  It’s my oldest site, the site I first set up and it’s not doing at all badly.

I like to go the free route whenever I can.  Adwords, at the moment, is not for me.  If there’s a way to make a little dirt stick, I’m always gonna try throwing it myself, rather than paying someone else to throw it for me.  I’ve been Bum Marketing as much as I possibly could - which works out at eleven articles and I’ve also been posting to my blog every day.  It might not seem like a lot to some, but for it’s mamoth.

I also changed the theme on the blog and it’s looking a whole lot more professional and inviting.  I’m already getting comments on the blog, so I’m super happy.  There can be nothing worse than writing away and having the distinct feeling that no one out there is reading/listening.  But the comments tell me otherwise!

I’ve also set up a couple of squeeze pages, to split test and see which one gives a better return - I’m even getting a hold of the lingo, as you can see!

I’ve set up a Squidoo Lens and linked it to my blog for even more traction and I’ve also done the same with a Hub.  So as you can see, I’ve been busy.  I’ll be sticking with my lead project for perhaps another week and I’ll evaluate it from there.

Happy marketing guys!
