Hi folks!  Well, there’s been lows and a couple of highs since I was last here!  I’ve been ill in bed for a week and only working periodically from the old laptop, that’s still chugging along thank god!  I’ve been writing a few articles for my main blog, determined to lift it out of the Google wilderness!  Currently it’s averaging about 15-20 Uniques a day, not great, and despite offering a great ebook for free, no one will sign up my list.  So yes, from my sick bed I’ve been sending off articles to Ezinearticles to lift the blog and I’ve posted almost every day to it. Today I’m concentrating on increasing traffic to my site, or should I say blog?  Obvious thing to say but this is a big ol’ place I’m trying to shout out into and that old adage that ‘if you build it they’ll come’, or something like that, just ain’t gonna do jack.

So, I’ve been reading up on pinging, social bookmarking and article writing.  Now I’ve always enjoyed turning my hand to the written word, so that isn’t a major problem to me.  I can write articles in my sleep if I have a mind to.  Pinging and Social Bookmarking are two subjects, one I know very little about and the other I know nothing about.

Pinging, well pretty straight forward once you look into it and figure out where/who you want to let know you’ve written something new here.

Social Bookmarking, well it seems to me that is a whole new ongoing topic for me to explore and pretty much impossible to tackle in one sitting!  Watch this space.
